The intake of patients is registered on paper. Because we have no computers, and usually no internet, the papers are collected and taken to the hospital in Juba once a month. This is a drive of about 400 kilometers but it is worth it. The hospital in Juba ensures that patient data is entered into a computer system so that a lot of data is retained in case it is necessary to obtain information about disease outbreaks or in the event of disasters and catastrophes.
Naturally, we hope for an improvement in this situation. A few good laptops can make all the difference. We hope to receive facilities for this in the coming years.
